His career took a significant step forward in 2012 when he was selected for the NSWRL Junior Representative Squad, where he officiated various grand finals as an in-goal official in the Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions.

Throughout his time at Parramatta Referees, he held various board positions and roles within the Association, consistently contributing wherever possible. His efforts were further acknowledged with the Parramatta Referees Darkie McCall award in 2011 and 2017.

His career continued to ascend as he reached NSW Cup and took on numerous NRL standby & NRLW touch lines. Daniel officiated the Sydney Shield Grand Final in both 2022 and 2023, amassing a total of 229 graded games to date.

On July 6, Daniel will achieve another major milestone in his career as he steps onto the field at Accor Stadium as NRL Match Official #168.
